Mid to Senior Level Structural Engineer

Full-Time Position in Bozeman, MT or New Kensington, PA

Summary of Position: AE Dynamics is looking for enthusiastic licensed structural engineers who have a passion for problem solving to be a part of our growing organization. In this position, you will perform structural analysis of low to mid-rise structures and façade systems, mentor junior staff, and assist senior staff with managing projects.

Engineering Duties:

   Perform, document, and coordinate structural analysis of both primary structures and building facade systems

   Produce project documents (drawings, specifications, and calculation packages)

   Perform construction administration (submittal review, RFI responses, site visits, and general contractor assistance)

   Perform structural special inspection services (visual inspections)

   Learn new skills under the direction of Senior Engineers and Project Managers

Job Requirements:

   Structural Engineering Degree and passed FE exam OR Registered Professional Engineer

   4-10 years of industry experience

   Experience with AutoCad

   Experience with Revit

   Strong written and verbal communication skills

   Ability to provide a high level of client service and engineering ethics

Project / Team Management:

   Assist Project Managers and Principals with managing engineering design, project schedules, and documentation

   Assist with coordinating project schedules between engineering and drafting staff

   Provide QAQC, mentor, and guidance for junior engineering staff

   Attend trainings, seminars, etc and relay information learned to coworkers
