Job Description:
AE Dynamics is looking for enthusiastic entry level design technicians who are passionate about drafting and construction design to be a part of our growing organization. In this position, you will support the development of construction documents and shop drawings for building envelope systems, working alongside engineers and senior staff. You will utilize gain valuable experience in AutoCAD and Revit, contribute to real-world projects, and learn industry best practices from our talented team.

Job Requirements:

0–3 years of experience in Structural, Architectural, or construction-related drafting

Proficiency with AutoCAD

Proficiency with Revit

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work collaboratively in an in-person environment (not a remote position)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience with storefront, curtain wall, or window systems is a significant advantage
Duties & Responsibilities:

Prepare and revise shop drawings using AutoCAD and Revit

Assist engineers and senior staff with structural drafting for a variety of project types

Coordinate with project teams to ensure accuracy and clarity of shop drawings

Support construction administration tasks, including revisions and updates to shop drawings

Learn new skills and software tools under the direction of senior technicians, engineers, and project managers

Contribute to projects across the US in a fast-paced environment
