PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project consists of 19-Story residential building overlooking the Hudson River in the West Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan. AE Dynamics served an integral role in the design and engineering of the entire building façade. The building houses 44 private residences in a very vibrant and sought after urban neighborhood. The street level features a private, gated drive court concealed by a custom double door gate with the frame and cladding engineered by AE Dynamics. The drive court gates, along with a custom lift gate, allow large sections of the façade to open for easy access while completely disguising their utilitarian purposes. The tower’s design creates light, spacious residences with panoramic views while simultaneously relating in scale to the surrounding buildings and drawing on the area’s industrial heritage.
